Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has been away from the limelight for quite some time now. While she made her comeback with the movie Blind, she has been busy enjoying her life as a new mother. She recently made the headlines when actor Rana Daggubati shared an incident he witnessed when he had visited Dulquer Salmaan during the shoot of his Bollywood movie. While he hadn’t named the actress and the movie, the experience he explained was easy for netizens to conclude that he was talking about The Zoya Factor.
Mumbai Based Casting Director Assaults An 18-Year-Old Aspiring Actress’ For Refusing His Sexual Advances
A Mumbai-based casting director and film editor Deepak Malakar was arrested on Monday, August 12 from physically assaulting an 18-year-old aspiring actress. A resident of Bihar, according to a report by India.com, he had allegedly banged the girl’s head to a wall after she refused his sexual advances. A case has been filed against the accused under sections 307 (attempt to murder), 342 (wrongful confinement), 354 (outrage modesty), and 354 (D) (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
